Oct 13/14, 2007        Central Coast Feather Fanciers     Paso Robles Event Center                    Paso Robles, CA                Special

This is a great show for our club in many ways but what I saw was the Booted Bantam in the Junior show.   May be there is still hope in bring back the Booted Bantams.  The show was Judged by John Monaco both open and junior.  Here is how it went.   BB open show was a Mille Fleur Hen by Cali Miller Reserve was a Mottled by Jim Wheeler in the Junior show BB was forfeited because the same bird was the winner in the open show and our club rules state that the same bird can not win in both at the same show.  The reserve of breed for the Juniors was a Porcelain Pullet by Mackenzie Riddle .  In the Booted bantams a Junior showed the same bird in both the open and the Junior show so the open show win is the only one that will count.   This was a Porcelain Cock by Mikaela Jensen.  Meet champ was Cale Milles Mille Fleur and the reserve was Jim Wheelers Mottled Pullet the varieties show were Blue 1, Mille Fleur 14, Mottled 4, Porcelain 9    The 3rd and 4th best birds were the mottled birds by Wheeler,  5th best was Porcelain Pullet by Mackenzie Riddle.  Other exhibitors were: Hunter Riddle, Late Palmback, Sarsh Lukes, Larry Stallings, and Delancy Carroll.
